A Price Hash Score is a 0–100 rating of how good a specific flight fare is, judged against the recorded price history of that exact route, departure month and booking window. 90 or above means book it now. It is computed by deterministic code, never by an AI model.
How often will PriceHash email me?
At most once a week per route, and usually far less. Alerts are sent on a score threshold plus a cooldown, never on a schedule, so if a route has nothing worth saying for a month you hear nothing for a month.
Does PriceHash sell flights?
No. PriceHash does not take payments, hold bookings, or act as a travel agent. The alert email links you to the fare and you book wherever you prefer.
Does an AI decide the price or the score?
No. Every number is computed by deterministic code. A language model only writes the sentence explaining the score, and every figure in that sentence is checked against the source data before the email is allowed to send.
What does PriceHash cost?
PriceHash is free while in beta. A paid tier with unlimited routes and earlier alerts is planned, but nothing is charged today.
How does PriceHash make money?
Eventually through a subscription. PriceHash may earn a small referral fee when you book, but the scoring code has no access to that data, so commissions cannot influence which fares you are shown.
Why does PriceHash sometimes refuse to score a route?
Below roughly 60 recorded fares for a route and booking window, there is not enough history to judge a price fairly, so PriceHash produces no score and sends no alert. One misleading alert costs more than several missing ones.
